We understand that grooming can feel stressful for some dogs (and their humans).
Our approach is designed to be predictable, gentle, and unhurried, so everyone knows what to expect before the appointment even begins.
Whether you choose Mobile, Drop-Off, or Pickup & Return Grooming, your dog receives the same private, one-on-one care.
This approach supports dogs of all temperaments — not just those who feel anxious.
🐾 Before Your Appointment
Once you request a quote, we’ll ask for a few details about your dog — including breed, size, coat type, and temperament. This helps us prepare and ensure we’re giving your dog the right amount of time and care.
Before your appointment:
Please give your dog a chance to potty shortly before their appointment
Keep them inside and relaxed before we arrive
Let us know about any anxiety, sensitivities, or medical concerns
There’s no need to bathe or prep your dog ahead of time — we’ll take care of everything.
For Drop-Off appointments, please arrive at your scheduled time so we can keep each appointment private and avoid overlapping dogs.
🚐 Getting Started
Mobile Grooming
We'll park as close as possible to your home and get settled in our fully equipped grooming bus. We'll check in with you before bringing your pup aboard.
🏡 Drop-Off Grooming
Bring your pup to our private St. Clair Shores location at their scheduled appointment time. We'll meet you, get your pup comfortably settled, and begin their one-on-one appointment.
🚗 Pickup & Return Grooming
We'll pick your pup up at the arranged time, bring them to our private location for their groom, and return them home when they're finished.
No matter which option you choose, appointments are kept private and one-on-one, without unfamiliar dogs or overlapping client appointments. Dogs from the same household may stay together when it helps them feel more comfortable.

Every grooming appointment is one-on-one and guided by your dog’s comfort.
Our fear-free, holistic approach includes:
Moving at your dog’s pace
Reading body language and stress signals
Offering breaks whenever needed
Using gentle handling and low-stress techniques
If your dog needs extra time, we slow down.
If they need a pause, we take one.
The goal is not perfection — it’s a grooming experience that feels safe, predictable, and supportive.
🤍 If Your Dog Feels Stressed
Some dogs need more time to adjust — and that’s okay.
If your dog becomes overly stressed or unsafe to continue grooming:
We may modify the service
Or stop early to protect their emotional well-being
This is never considered a failure.
Stopping early often helps dogs build trust and have better experiences in future visits.
You’ll only be charged for the portion of the service completed.
✨ After the Appointment
Once grooming is complete:
• Mobile: We'll return your pup to you calmly and safely
• Drop-Off: We'll text you when your pup is ready for pickup
• Pickup & Return: We'll bring your freshly groomed pup back home
• Payment is due at the time of service
• We're happy to discuss how your dog did and make notes for future visits
Many dogs benefit from regular, consistent appointments to help grooming feel familiar and less stressful over time.
To maintain consistency, clients are encouraged to stay on a regular 2–12 week grooming schedule based on their dog's individual needs.
🌿 A Gentle Reminder
Every dog is different, and grooming isn't always predictable.
Coat condition, behavior, comfort level, age, and health can all affect what we're able to safely accomplish during an appointment.
We will never force a groom simply to finish it. If your dog tells us they've had enough, we'll listen.
Comfort and safety will always come before a perfect haircut.
